There is only a hairline difference in Philosophy and Science. Firstly, a thought is originated in any mind at some moment and later on, it is supported by some experimental facts. It becomes a part of Science at this juncture and till then, it remains a philosophical idea. As a forerunner in science education, we aspire to provide an intellectually stimulating environment to nurture scientists and leaders of the future. We are constantly revamping our curriculum to reflect the broadening spectrum of science. This college provides a student both; a training for positive thinking in the desired direction and plan some demonstrations to strengthen that idea. Students also feel a wide gap between their training in the college and actual practice in life. Therefore, attempts are made to fulfill this gap by developing a University-Industries link so that our students will find it easier to accommodate to the newer environment in industries.
We believe that the best learning often takes place outside the lecture theatre. Our students have many opportunities for enriching experiences such as seminars, research, exchange studies, industrial visits, and conferences, etc. Expressing an idea in any form (written or oral) is a necessary condition for the growth of a science student. Efforts are been made in this institute to develop both these qualities in the budding scientists of the country. We hope, through these hands-on learning experiences, students will be able to address real-world problems, formulate solutions and make a good contribution to a rapidly changing world.
